Overcomplicated and hard to clean

"This makes me sad. Its predecessor was a classic design marvel: three pieces in two materials (hard plastic and steel) which slotted together to a beautifully functional roller/ cutter with a sliding safety cover, or took apart for easy cleaning and drying, with every surface accessible. This child is a mess. It cuts well, but has a fiddly silicon rubber safety strap. Worse, the inner surfaces of the rather fussy plastic and silicone body are not easily accessible for cleaning and, particularly, drying. It's not that much worse in this respect than a classic rolling pizza cutter. But the previous version was SO much better. So every time I use it, I miss the original. Why did you do this to me, J&J???"

"Fantastic design very sharp but the protective cover has been well though of. It fits in your hand very comfortably. I like the way it can be taken apart to wash. I have had my old pizza cutter for over 20 yrs so if this lasts as long l will be very happy. I bought it in the sale so very pleased."
